LOVE (ing) : sticky notes / post-its

I simply can’t resist this new post-its. The pigeon ones are my favorites,  and i love the fact they  can be used as post it or gift tags. The sakura flower and the leafs are also awesome. Undoubtedly, many of you have already seen the beautiful autumn leaf pot-its, and the original leaf post-it, if not make sure to see them here in one of my older posts or here  or here. And if you know where to get pigeons please let me know at the moment  if I am not wrong they are just avilable in Japan .

Jacarnda Blossoms

May and June are two of my favorite months of the year because of two reasons the weather and that  all over Mexico the jacaranda trees blosoms . They not only blossom, they drop their flowers and carpet the sidewalks, roads and yards. But  I have never seen them as beautiful as in Mexico City, as if the city is dressed in a different color for this months. The city completely glazes in a dazzling shade of lilac-blue. I could say Jacaranda tree season in Mexico is getting to be like Japan cherry blossoms, as they are propagating all over Mexico. There is an urban legend they were brought by a Japanesse to Mexico. I could not say I love the Jacaranda tree as much as I love the flower.

Steve Mcpherson / Eco Tuesdays

I find the art of Steve Mcpherson  an amazing creative way to approach recycling. He collects marine plastic, must of it wave worn and sun bleached and then turns them into pieces of art. I love most of his work , but I love more  how he brings awareness of the plastic pollution in other words human consuming problem. It makes me think that the plastic we consume, in most cases is a single-use plastic. I think  we have to be more conscious of it because it may not end in a piece of art but killing marine life. This are some of my favorite ones, but you should hop on over to check out the entire collection.
