MARACAS
This Maracas are exactly made like the ones I posted yesterday. Handmade with 90% of reused materials . Made of chopsticks and PET caps previously washed. Containing pebbles or beans in the inside. We cover with papier mache and then glue the paper flowers giving them a shabby chic touch.

MARACAS
I’ve been very busy lately spending time working in new products for my local market catalog. I decided to put some of this products in my Etsy shop so during this couple of weeks I will be sharing with some of my new products. Today and tomorrow will be my maraca collection that has been very successful locally and I want to see how it works on etsy. Hope you like it
Maracas are often think for destination weddings but I believe they are symbol of any kind of celebration.When you pick up one of these maracas you will not want to put it down. And as fun as they are, they also are beautiful to display.
The first image are maracas made from tabachinnaturally dried pods. The dried seeds inside the pods make the rattle sound. . No two are exactly the same size; they are aprox 8″ to 12″ long. Hand painted just one side and in the other side a text is printed in vinyl and stick to the back of each pod (names of the groom and bride or thank you)
The second image are maracas handmade with 90% of reused materials . Made of chopsticks and PET caps previously washed. Containing pebbles or beans in the inside. We cover with papier mache and then hand painted them. And they sound as nice as the traditional maraca.

I am exited to share some good news. In the next week or two I will be launching a catalog here at my blog, where you can easily click on and view the items have I for sale. And the other one is, I just join venture with another talented women Cristina from Daxalma. We join toghether the two companies and started working to create wedding details from trash.
Today I am sharing with you one our products, a flower made from disposable spoons. Locally this has been well received.
Recently I sold this flower for a wedding seating arrangement and also for a small event and some for mother’s day. My biggest client for this item is Flora Farm a very popular restaurant here in Los Cabos, that is an experience to visit, not just for their good food, but also for a visit to their organic market and people watching. Hope you had a great weekend. White is one of my favorite colors and I love all white weddings, I think white gives a touch of simplicity but is also is so chic.My favorite white is in a monochromatic combination.

Espero tuvieron un lindo fin de Semana. Hoy les comparto un grupo de pasteles blancos de boda, los cuales en su mayoría tienen un toque monocromático que les hace ver de un color blanco gris que aunque no se nota le da profundidad y sombra al color blanco, que es lo que mas me gusta.

EDIBLE FLOWERS: Dandelion and Sunflower (part 5)
So today is my last group of edible flowers. I did not know but there are around 50 edible flowers. I just listed 14 of them and of those 14 I have tried 12 of them. But I could not resist adding to my list: LIlac and Elderflower because of their beauty. Wich I hope I try in a near futur. As I mention before, I think, flowers beside their flavor they enhance beauty and freshness to any dish.
