I´m an advocate for homemade despite every year for christmas I am late for doing them. I firmly belive that there is more fun doing your christmas presenst rather than buying them. That does not mean I also love buying them. If I start my homemade presents this weekend I may make it. So today I want to share with you my favorite picks hoping they inspire you.
Sorry for the late post today. Wow Christmas is rapidly approaching…I thought this year I was going to be well organized and not end up like a normally do frantically running around. I guess Christmas would not be the same for me without the rush.
I also do not like to get caught up in the buy buy Christmas mood. But definitively one big part of Christmas is about giving, I will be sharing with you for a couple of days some gift ideas with which I am completely driven. First of all I will start with a little round up of unique gifts that give back, my very first choice.

My belief is shopping motivates global economies. However, I also believe is important to focus on buying sustainability things, less expendable, durable, healthier, hand made, local if possible, items built to last. And even better when the proceeds of these purchases goes to a person or even a community in need. When you buy mindful it gives extra pleasure.Whether it is for yourself or the pleasure of gifting it to someone else.
Here is a necklace that besides the significance of the word GIVE I find it beautiful.100% of the proceeds from these handmade necklaces go directly to The Maalgo Project, a community run nonprofit in Ghana, West Africa, working to bring the gift of education to every child around the globe.
