Artist Crush

Buen Día, sorry I missed yestarday. My excuse: I am a newly blogger.

Elena Nuez , I really do not know to much about her. I found her blog by pure luck. It does not say much about her, there is no bio. There is a link to another blog, like a compendium of many artists.

Her photos do say a lot about her.

I am completely in love with her photos and drawings and the way she combines them.

I could say taking photos is not just having a good eye,it is like painting with light. She really know´s how to use light.

Make sure to stop by her blog, it is delightful.

Color moods

Buen Día

As here we are still in the very high of the summer, I mean summer at it´s MOST.  I am in a yellow mood.

It is a color that I am completely surround by, as it is a sunny and moon color. Also is the color of the shine of the stars.

I love this color, because of it´s visibility and brightness. What I like the most is the yellow shades that can go all the way to gold.

Some how it is not a color  that flows in my house decoration, or the way I dress. But, I find  yellow very cheerful and I am glad I am surrounded by it.

Hello sunshines

 Buen Día

Are you familiar with the Spanish language?  Our words have genders.  They are feminine or masculine and sometimes they carry both genders.  Like in the case of the sea.  It is correct to say La (she) Mar or El (he) Mar.  This is something that intrigues me about my Spanish language, the distinction of genders and even more when a word is allowed  two genders.

Lot of time I wonder about words, I love always to check the roots of a word. But now I wonder how did the gender appear in our language.

The sun is a he – El Sol. (The moon is a she.)  People from Spain (I’m married to a Spaniard) use the sun as a term of endearment — mi sol -  my sun or you are a sun.  Used with love the word sun could be used feminine or masculine.  How’s that for confusing?

I just came back from a relaxing summer vacation in my hometown Mexico City.  How can Mexico City one of the largest cities in the world be relaxing?  I barely saw the sun, and was kilometers away from the ocean. But because it was summer it was not as crowd as alway so i got to do some culture stuff and the best part spent a lot of my time with family and friends.

Fall was almost there, well is almost here too,but  it doesn’t exactly feel that way in this part of the world as a matter of fact I wouldn’t mind a little bit of fall.

Mr Sun is all day long ,and it gets to be very but very hot (up 40ºc degrees )  which I do complaint all day long, but nevertheless it does not just brightest my day it also brightest  my life.
